Max Wilkinson MP

Insight Event with Max Wilkinson MP - How can Culture, Media and Sport help communities thrive?

How can Culture and Sport help revive communities? How can they help tackle youth violence, and improve physical and mental health? Can media reinvent themselves to tackle disinformation and is AI a threat to democracy? How much should we invest in Culture and Sport?

Before entering politics, Max worked as a journalist, moving to his constituency of Cheltenham to take up a job with his local paper. He spent 10 years as a local councillor, most recently serving as Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Culture, Tourism and Wellbeing.
