Save public-facing Front Counter Services at Kensington Police Station!
Please sign our petition to keep the station's 24x7 front counter services open
After a large wave of police stations closures across London by the previous Conservative Mayor which included Notting Hill and the Earl's Court station's police hub, the 24x7 front desk at Kensington Police Station on Earl's Court Road is due to be axed under the current Mayor.
This would leave our entire borough without any public access points, leaving residents without a way to report a crime, provide documentation, or seek support from the police in person. This contradicts the current Mayor's manifesto pledge to keep at least a station open in every borough.
At a time when Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and unsolved burglaries are worryingly on the rise, and visible drug activity becomes a regular feature in our streets, we need more police presence -not less- proximity to and accessibility of police resources for our communities. And to make things worse, the Council's Enforcement team is proving low impact being understaffed, unclear on its mission and insufficiently trained.
Please sign our petition to help save Kensington Police Station and keep the 24x7 front counter open!

Save Kensington Police Station's front-counter services
I hereby request public facing front counter services to remain open 24x7 at the Kensington Police Station.
