Safer Earl's Court junctions & roads
We, the undersigned, Kensington and Chelsea residents, businesses, or visitors ask the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and Transport for London (TfL) to initiate an urgent and immediate review of the safety on TfL’s Earl’s Court red routes with particular emphasis on the traffic junctions along West Cromwell Road.
The junctions along West Cromwell Road represent a danger to pedestrians and cyclists, with one junction being recognised by the London Cycling Campaign as one of the most dangerous junctions in London.
This urgent review has to deliver a series of design proposals and a timescale for the new schemes implementation.
It is unsustainable for the Mayor of London and TfL to promote active travel without ensuring that the value of human life is placed above the demands for traffic flow targets.
