TfL has been warned that immediate action must be taken to safeguard those trying to cross Beaufort Street

Despite the recent addition of a pedestrian crossing at the north end of Battersea Bridge, junctions at both ends of Beaufort Street - at the Embankment, and at the King’s Road - remain perilous for pedestrians and cyclists.

We are calling on TfL to initiate public consultations on these junctions, and wider traffic patterns along the Chelsea Embankment ASAP.  Life and limb are at stake.  TfL and RBKC need to engage urgently in open, transparent and meaningful public consultations on these matters.

In Chelsea Riverside, our candidate, Margo Schwartz, is campaigning for safety for all road users.

The Evening Standard has highlighted this issue on their website. Click here to read more.
