RBKC needs to step up and do more if it is to make a proper contribution in tackling this climate emergency.
Figures from last year show that RBKC only managed to recycle 28.6%. If the Council is to achieve its goal for the whole borough to be carbon neutral by 2040, it will need to be far more ambitious and take bold steps.
But 60 years of continuous Conservative leadership in this borough, means the Council is taking its residents for granted and is not feeling the pressure to come up with new ideas to increase recycling rates in our community.
The K&C Liberal Democrats want more recycling services to be introduced in the borough and for the Council to step up its activities to increase awareness around recycling for our residents.
