Jeremy and Marion

A fun and fund raising dinner at the National Liberal Club. There will be an after dinner talk with slides and music about Jeremy Thorpe from Kensington via Eton, Oxford and the leadership of the Liberal party to scandal and the Old Bailey and his second wife Marion a refugee from German occupied Austria to via the Royal Family and lots of music to marriage to Jeremy.

This event is to honour a glamorous couple so Black Tie or glamorous, at least masks and tiaras are acceptable. Great raffle prizes!

Doors open 18-45 in the Smoking Room for a Welcome drink

Starter Truffled feta Terrine with beetroot jelly '

Main Course Hunter’s Style braised steak – Vegetarian alternative Wild mushroom stroganoff with pilaff rice ( please indicate your choice)

Dessert (and Raffle ) Mango and passion fruit mousse with shortbread biscuit Coffee and mints during "Jeremy and Marion" entertainment/ presentation

A bottle of red and a bottle of white wine per Table.
