Linda Wade has been an Earl’s Court Councillor since September 2010. She has served on several Council committees (Adult Social Care, Family and Children, Housing and Property Scrutiny, Cabinet and Corporate Services Scrutiny Committee, Budget Scrutiny and Planning) and Working Groups (Hospital Discharge, Reformation of Scrutiny Groups and Older Resident Accommodation).

Linda is also a trustee of Brighter Kensington and Chelsea, a committee member of Inkerman House, committee member of the Royal Borough Environment Project, Vice-chair of Holland Park, Chair of Nevern Square Conservation Area RA, and the Earl’s Court Area Action Group.
Linda is one of the founder members of the An-Anisa Empowerment Group. Also of Mutual Aid Kensington and Chelsea, which supported residents throughout the pandemic, and initiated the Transition Lunches at St Cuthbert’s, latterly the Transition talks and workshops to support those impacted by COVID and furlough. Set up the Mutual Aid Food Bank at St Luke’s Church, Sydney Street with support from ZHeroes, now the Vestry, she is part of the multi-agency Mutual Aid Clothes Distribution team for New Arrivals and Afghan Refugees working with a wide range of different charities to help those in need.
Linda worked on the environmental improvement gabion cages along West Cromwell Road, designed to reduce air and noise pollution, the tree planting in Warwick Road, undertaken biennial air quality monitoring in Earl’s Court, worked on the improvement of the West Brompton Wetlands and helped in the development of the community gardens in Earl’s Court. The 6-session workshops and talks to support Kensington and Chelsea Garden Squares followed by a specific session on Succession Planting for Trees seminar at Kensington Palace.
